Course Name Eligibility
GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) – 3 Years
  • The candidate must have passed the 10+2 (Intermediate) examination with English as a subject and secured a minimum of 40% marks.
  • The candidate must have completed the 10+2 (Intermediate) in a Vocational ANM course with at least 40% marks and must have studied English.
  • The candidate must be a registered ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife) and must have passed the qualifying examination.

Agra, Aligarh, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Bareilly, Basti, Banda, Ghaziabad, Gonda, Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Meerut, Mirzapur, Moradabad, Prayagraj, Saharanpur, Varanasi, and Gautam Buddha Nagar.

Scheduled Castes (SC) As per UP Government norms
Scheduled Tribes (ST) As per UP Government norms
Other Backward Classes (OBC) As per UP Government norms

The Selection Process Of UP GNM Entrance Exam 2025 for ABVMU UPGET Nursing Admission Form Are As Follows:-

Online Application

  • Candidates must fill and submit the UPGET 2025 application form online at www.abvmuup.edu.in between 02/04/2025 and 22/05/2025.

Entrance Examination (UPGET 2025)

  • The exam will be held on 11/06/2025.
  • Mode: Offline (pen-and-paper)
  • Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
  • Total Questions: 100
  • Sections: Science (Class 10 level) – 50 Questions, General Knowledge (Class 12 level) – 30 Questions, English (Class 12 level) – 20 Questions

Minimum Qualifying Marks

  • General: 50th percentile
  • General (PwD): 45th percentile
  • SC/ST/OBC: 45th percentile
  • SC/ST/OBC (PwD): 45th percentile

Result Declaration

  • The result will be published on the ABVMU official website.
  • A combined merit list and category-wise merit list will be prepared based on the marks.

Tie-Breaking Criteria (If Candidates Have Same Marks)
In case of a tie, the following order will be used:

  • Higher marks in Science
  • Higher marks in English
  • Higher marks in General Knowledge
  • Older in age
  • Higher marks in High School (10th)
  • If still tied, Hindi/other language marks may be considered

Counselling Process

  • Only shortlisted candidates (as per the merit list) will be called for counselling.
  • Details will be available on the ABVMU website after result declaration.
  • Seat allotment will be done based on rank, category, and availability

College Allotment and Fee Payment

  • Candidates allotted seats must pay the admission fee within the prescribed timeline.
  • Failing to do so will cancel their claim for admission.

Final Admission

  • Admission will be confirmed only after document verification and fee submission.
  • Candidates must report to the allotted institution within the specified period.
